Spicy Tropical Gold Cocktail

This refreshing, beautiful cocktail can be made with tequila as a traditional-style cocktail, or the tequila can be omitted. Either way, a drink you can enjoy on a warm summer day!

  • 1/2 ounce honey
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1 ounce pomegranate juice
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • Slices of jalapeño (garnish)
  • 2 ounces silver tequila (optional)
  • 2 small slices of jalapeño
  • salt to taste
  • ice

  1. Place the two slices of jalapeño into a cocktail shaker and muddle with a muddler (or the handle of a sturdy wooden spoon).
  2. Add the honey and remaining ingredients, with the exception of the garnish, into the shaker.
  3. Please note that the honey must be added in first so that the additional ingredients help dissolve it and incorporate it into the combination. Shake for 8 seconds. Pour into a glass with a salted rim and garnish with a slice of jalapeño.
