Roasted Habanero Salsa

Roasted habaneros salsa is the the perfect addition to your tacos, eggs, or any meal you'd like to enjoy with a spicy kick.

This salsa is typically made with green habaneros, but ripe orange habaneros will work fine. The result is an incredibly spicy salsa made with charred garlic and habanero peppers.


  • 1 clove garlic peeled
  • 5 habanero chilies seeds included
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • salt

  1. Bring a large skillet to high heat. Toss garlic clove and habaneros. Roast until charred about 5 minutes. Pick out habanero stems and discard.
  2. Transfer charred ingredients to a blender with orange, lime juice and salt and blend until a smooth but still pulpy consistency is reached.
  3. Transfer salsa to a bowl, let rest for 15 minutes and store in the fridge or enjoy

Salsa can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
