Who doesn't love mangoes? Now you can get your mango fix with this easy-to-make mango mousse with galletas Maria. The smooth texture of the mousse is great when paired with the crunchiness of the cookies.
There’s nothing that reminds me more of my childhood than this dessert. My aunt was a great cook and she always made amazing desserts for us, but this one was by far my favorite one. Be sure to eat chilled. The great thing about this mousse is that it can be made with any seasonal fruit and enjoyed by children and grown ups alike!

Directions
- Blend the sugar, lime juice, unflavored gelatin, condensed milk and the mangoes. Reserve.
- Beat the egg whites with the whisk until soft peaks form. Continue beating the egg whites as you incorporate the previous mixture. Then continue beating until it becomes heavy.
- Prepare a squared pyrex with a bed of crushed Maria crackers and pour a part of the mixture until it covers the crackers. Repeat the process until the pyrex is full.
- Chill in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
Chef Notes
If mangoes are out of season you can always use the canned version.
