
This Cuban style mojo sauce livens up any recipe, whether its protein like fish or chicken, or enjoyed as a dipping sauce for chips or tostones.
This is my interpretation of a Cuban style mojo sauce. The perfect blend of citrus and spice, it can be used to marinade any type of fish, meat or even poultry. It’s also ideal as a dip for quesadillas, or your favorite cuban sandwich.
It can also come in handy when preparing ceviche. This mojo sauce recipe opens up a world of possibilities to your everyday go-to recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup orange juice fresh
- 3/4 cup lemon juice fresh
- 8 cloves garlic peeled
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp oregano dried
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp black pepper ground

Directions
- Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until golden, for approximately 3 minutes. Add orange juice, lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano and cumin powder and cook, stirring, until fragrant, for about 2 minutes.
- Transfer sauce to a bowl to cool.
- Add sauce to a food processor. Blend in a low intensity level until ingredients are mixed but not completely pureed.
- Enjoy with your favorite chicken, fish or seafood!
