Costa Rican Refresco

Cuisine: Costa Rican
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2 servings
After a day under the sun, there is nothing more refreshing than fresh fruit blended with ice - otherwise known as a Refresco in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica has a wide variety of exotic fruits. A fresh refresco can be found almost everywhere and I can personally tell you that there is nothing more refreshing than a fresh fruit juice blended with ice... especially if you’re exploring the beautiful (and very humid) nature of Costa Rica.

The lime juice adds an incredibly refreshing taste to the usually sweet cantaloupe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cantaloupe melon
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
