Albóndigas are among the most versatile foods you can make. You can use beef, chicken, turkey, vegetables, and other foods as the base of the meatballs, and experiment with your favorite herbs, spices and other ingredients to flavor them. This recipe is both sweet and savory, thanks to the addition of Sunsweet Amaz!in Prunes.

In case you're worried about the sweetness level of the dish, did you know that prunes are lower in sugar compared to other dried fruits? They have no added sugar and a low glycemic index, which means they keep you feeling full. Plus, because they're real fruits, this recipe is a delicious way to get your daily fruit serving!

Prunes can make everything from appetizers and salads to entrées and desserts irresistible—and good for you, too! See how they transform these albóndigas into an easy-to-make gourmet lunch or dinner.
