Ingredients

  • 1 package. Greek-style nonfat yogurt honey or vanilla flavor, 6-oz.
  • 1/2 Ripe, fresh Hass avocado seeded and peeled
  • 1/4 honeydew melon peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • cinnamon optional

Refreshing and creamy, this quick and easy Hass avocado smoothie pairs with sweet honeydew.

Directions

  1. Place yogurt, avocado, honeydew and honey in a blender in the order listed. With the blender on the smoothie or puree setting, blend until smooth.
  2. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again. (Use the ice crush setting if available.)
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a lemon wedge.

Chef Notes


Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
