A fun way to enjoy olives!

Turn a boring old jar of olives into a fantastically delicious appetizer, with only a few ingredients. These baked olive cheeseballs smell delicious fresh out of the oven and taste even better. Cooking them is so easy but if you want to speed the process up even further, bake them, freeze them and once you are ready to serve them, simply pop them in the oven for 5 to 8 minutes to reheat them.

Directions

  1. Make sure the olives have been dried thoroughly.
  2. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  3. Combine cheese, butter, flour and cayenne pepper until it becomes a dough. Knead with your hands.
  4. Pinch about a teaspoon of the cheese mix, and wrap one olive with the dough. Roll into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Repeat the process with the rest of the olives. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
